After spending some time wandering around The Body Shop at a recent event i went to, i decided to pick up some new eye cream and while i was at it, i noticed it was 3 for 2 on the Vitamin E range so naturally i had to make use of this offer. Even though i didn't need anything else, it had to be done right?
I picked up the above eye cream as i needed something which would suit my skin type and was easy to apply at the same time. It contains plumping hyaluronic acid and wheatgerm oil which helps to hydrate and smooth the skin around the eye. Since using it, i've not noticed a massive difference in day to day use but looking close up, the skin seems healthier and my make up doesn't crease under my eyes anymore throughout the day. Bonus.
I'm a firm believe that one can never try out too many moisturisers to find the best one for your skin and so i didn't hesitate picking up a new moisturiser to try. This aqua boost sorbet has a strange consistency. It feels like a scrub when you touch it but as soon as you apply it to your skin, it melts into a cooling gel. It's meant to keep your skin matte and having oily skin, i found it definitely helped a little. My skin feels hydrated and my make up goes on so easily and smooth after using this.
This little beauty was my third choice as i love my current No.7 night cream but really wanted to try an overnight serum. Before bed and after cleansing i took a few drops of this and smoothed it over my face. It instantly made my face look so smooth but not greasy or oily. My only issue with this is that every time i've used it, my skin doesn't seem as smooth or soft in the morning as it did the night before. I've definitely noticed a difference in my skins softness after using this though!
I'm always on the lookout for amazing products to add to my skincare routine.
