Lush Sheffield Bloggers Event

Who doesn't love Lush, right? Recently, i was invited to attend a bloggers event at the amazing Lush Sheffield branch. Having been a big fan of lush for a few years but never having the opportunity to try out a lot of their products, I jumped at the chance to attend.

With it being only my second blogger event and me being a nervous mess at things like this, i met up with lots of fabulous Sheffield bloggers before to have a coffee and a chit chat before heading on down to Lush. We were greeted warmly and advised of what the evening would entail; making our own bath bombs, a skin consultation and a look at the Mother's Day, Spring and Easter products! There were also some lovely nibbles provided by M&S as well for us to snack on. I was super excited by this point.

I headed over to make my own bath bomb with some of the other lovely bloggers and we quickly got down to business. We made our very own Butterball bath bomb which smelt amazingly sweet. We were given two pots with different powders in to mix and then we put the mixture into moulds and voila! Once it was all squished into place inside the plastic mould, you could see the bath bomb taking shape. A few stickers to hold it in place later and we got to take home our very own little Butterball bath bomb. I can't wait to use it!

After this we headed to check out the new Mother's Day, Spring and Easter ranges. My god, i want everything. If only i was rich eh? The Mother's day boxes were amazing value for money and contained some of the best Lush products ever. Some even had exclusive products in them which were previously only available at the Oxford Street store! A few demonstrations later and we went to do some shopping of our own.

I collared one of the beautiful members of staff to help me with my skin issues and we discussed the best face masks and moisturisers for my super oily skin. One thing i love about Lush is that the staff are all so knowledgeable and super friendly so i felt like i was in a safe pair of hands. After picking out a face mask and moisturiser, i wandered around the store having a good look at all the products they do.

One goody bag later and i was heading on my way with a cheeky stop off at Mcdonalds before making my way home. One thing i will say, since using lush products as part of my daily routine, i've already seen a difference and it's only been 2 days. I definitely think i need to visit lush more often.

The goody bag we received was amazing, with some bath bombs, bubble bars, face masks and soaps as well as some money off vouchers at M&S. I had to stop browsing the Lush Spa leaflet because i want to try them all and that's probably not a good idea when you're trying to save for a house!

* I was invited by Lush to this event and the items in the goody bag were gifted to me but all opinions and photos are my own.
