Let's Try To... Get A Little Fitter


I often go through phases of wanting to be more toned or a bit fitter but generally give up after a few weeks when i either forget about it or realise that i've had way too many takeaways to even consider that going to a gym class will help in any way at all. So April is the month i decide to do something about it. 

I recently went to a Body Attack class at my local gym and boy was i surprised how unfit i was. Small and skinny does definitely not mean fit and strong. My muscles ached about 20 minutes in and there were people who i would have thought would be in worse shape than me, really giving it some and pushing themselves. Halfway through i wanted to give up and walk out but i powered on. Afterwards, i felt fine. I didn't ache or feel like i needed to lie down for a decade and it made me feel so good about myself and really light on my feet. 

Then i went home and ate some spicy food which didn't agree with me at all and i ended up being really ill the next day so... moral of that story - don't give myself overly spicy food. 


So here we are, approaching April and i've decided i will do at least 1 fitness class per week even if i have to go by myself. 

Let's Do This! 


March's Challenge Update

If you were keeping up to date with my monthly challenges, March's was to be more organised and i'm glad to say i did. I wrote in my organiser daily whenever i'd planned something and i always referred to it if i needed to remember if i'd already organised something. Success.

  1. This is one of my goals for April too - I keep wanting to start working out but never really get anywhere. I've made a proper plan and I'm going to start on the 1st, hopefully I can stick to it this time! :) xxx

    1. That's a good idea to make a fitness plan. I'm so bad for thinking these things in my head then forgetting all about it!

  2. I'm trying to eat healthier this coming month! I eat way too many takeaways as well.

  3. I'm so unfit too. I was at legs,bums and tums today and the warm-up tired me out!! I'm determined to carry on with different classes though . . I just need to stop wrecking it all with crisps and chocolate when I get home!!
