It's true. I'm in love with Netflix. For a while, i wasn't that impressed with the tv shows or the film selection they had. I was always wanting them to upload more that i could binge on while eating my feelings. Recently though, i've started to branch out with my choice of viewing especially late at night when my neighbours are still up and i can hear them through the walls (sidenote;- it's the walls that are super thin, not just that they are terribly loud). After i'd caught up on the shows i know and love, i decided to try out a few i was unfamiliar with and i discovered a whole new side of Netflix and i love it!
You always see people raving on about Orange is the New Black or Better Call Saul because everyone is talking about them, but what about those lesser known shows which deserve just as much recognition? Well, here are my current favourites that you should be watching if you haven't already...
My ultimate favourite right now, i'm seriously addicted. If you're unfamiliar, it's the story of Sarah, who see's a woman who looks just like her jump in front of a train. She steals her identity but in doing so she learns more about why she looks exactly like the other woman. It's amazing. It was originally on BBC3 and the lead actress plays more than one role - intrigued? Well, go watch it!
People who were previously dead start turning back up in a town as though nothing had happened. I love how this show looks at the impact on different peoples lives and it's so gripping even though the thought of someone coming back from the dead is a concept which is hard to get your head around! Currently only one season is on Netflix but it's worth watching!
How To Get Away With Murder
I'm recording season 2 on Universal Channel right now because this is the only place i can find it showing but season 1 is on Netflix and it's one of the best first seasons of anything i've watched. Each episode shows a group of people studying law at university defend a different client however, there is a running story throughout the season and so many twists and turns that sometimes even i got lost! So addictive and so underrated!
I'm always on the lookout for new shows to watch once i finish Orphan Black but i'm currently eying up Bates Motel or Sons of Anarchy! Let me know if there's any i should be watching!
